Clinic

The medical clinic, under the direction of Junior Tejan, has been up and running for over a year. Many medical supplies were donated for use at the clinic and arrived on the container in November. Junior quickly had them organized and ready for use, and he also organized the many medical supplies to be taken to the hospital in Mattru.

“Uncle Junior” is loved by the children, though much of his medical responsibilities include treating the various boils and infections. He carefully cleans out wounds with a syringe filled with peroxide that we would casually dump on a sore in America. The expense and lack of availability of simple items like peroxide require Junior to be an excellent steward.

Please pray for the children at the home as they continue to fight off various skin infections. This is a constant battle and an expensive one to fight! Pray that the children would continue to heed their teachings about hygiene!
