How to Support

Please remember as you give that 100% of all gifts given are sent to Sierra Leone. We are completely self-supported here and use none of the money donated to run the business of the ministry in the States.

• Supporting a child

  Supporting a child at Jonathan's House for Orphans means that one child will have the food, education, medical treatments, and shelter necessary to thrive!  Most importantly, supporting a child means that a child in Sierra Leone will have a connection to a person who will pray for and care for them!  The greatest gift outside of salvation that these children can receive is the knowledge that they are not forgotten.  A simple family picture from America of someone who cares becomes a prized possession to the supported child.  The blessings for the child and for the supporter are many.  You can communicate with the child through others who are travelling to Sierra Leone and send pictures and small gifts. As  you receive pictures, updates and notes from your child, you will soon see how God can use you to provide hope to the hopeless!

2. Let us join you at your church and testify to what God is doing in Sierra Leone.

3. Help an individual on staff with fees for Biblical training. Most of our staff are desperately wanting educational training to pastor our many church plants! Typical tuition is around $250.

4. Support a staff member! You may contribute to the salary or benefits of a staff member in need of further assistance. We have several single mothers who are the sole providers for their families. They would be BLESSED with help for tuition for the school fees for their children.

5. Invite us to meet with your Bible study, men's or women's group, or even you family. WE would love to introduce you to the Jonathan House Family.

6. Build a church, dig a well, or provide a latrine for a community in need!

7. Come with us to meet our family in Sierra Leone on a short term trip!

What's the Current Monthly Need and Where Do We Stand

Right now we need $6900 per month to operate. One third of that is for food for the kids at the home. One third goes to salaries for 40 staff. The last one third goes for church planting, street kids, upkeep on the home, vehicle maintenance, evangelism, and the destitute program. We are currently at about 50% of our needed monthly support.
