Doctrinal Statement

Statement One - Scriptures - The Scripture is God's revealed truth in the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. The Bible is entirely inspired by God. 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:19-21

Statement Two - Salvation - Mankind is lost in sin and can only be reconciled to God through the blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the provision for salvation. Salvation is given by grace alone and as a gift from God. Once God secures the salvation of those born again, they are placed eternally in God's family and can never be separated from Him. Romans 3:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 10:27-29, Jude 21-24

Statement Three - God - There is one living and true God, Creator, and Sustainer. He eternally exists as the Trinity, in three equal persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. I Corinthians 8:6, Ephesians 1:3-14

Statement Four - Jesus Christ - Jesus Christ is fully God, incapable of sin, and always existing. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of Mary, a virgin. He rose bodily from the dead and ascended into Heaven where His is now as our High Priest and Intercessor. John 1:1 and 14, I Corinthians 15:3-4, Galatians 4:4

Statement Five - Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit is a divine person, equal and of the same nature as God the Father and God the Son. He convicts of sin and of righteousness. He regenerates the believing sinner. He also indwells, guides, instructs and empowers the believer. John 14:16, John 16:8-11, Acts 5:3-4, Titus 3 :5

Statement Six - Creation - The Genesis account of creation in six literal days is true. Man came by direct creation of God and not by evolution. Man was created for God's pleasure and exists to bring glory to God. Genesis 1:26, Colossians 1:16-17
